Eric Wright

Eric Wright is an accomplished urban design and planning professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Director of Planning + Urban Design at Dar since 2017, Eric has held various leadership roles, including Principal and Senior Associate Urban Designer. Prior experience includes positions at AECOM from 2008 to 2016, where Eric was Associate Principal overseeing operations in a multidisciplinary practice and also served as Project Manager for public realm projects. Earlier roles at Renaissance Planning Group and Cox Company involved leading urban design initiatives and planning for land use and transportation projects. Eric began a career in transportation planning with the Atlanta Regional Commission, contributing to travel demand modeling for the metropolitan area. Educational credentials include a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, coupled with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University.
