Rim Bahmad

Rim BAHMAD is a skilled transportation researcher and project management assistant currently working at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) since November 2020, focusing on the review and harmonization of transport data for Arab countries. Previous experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at the American University of Beirut from September 2021 to May 2023 and working as a highway design engineer at GHANDOUR EST, where responsibilities included road design review and site follow-up. Rim's career began with a training role in traffic and transportation engineering at TEAM International, followed by a civil engineering trainee position at RCM - Trading & Contracting, where design and drafting skills were developed. Academically, Rim holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management from the American University of Beirut and a Master of Engineering in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Lebanese University. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering was earned from Rafik Hariri University.
