Michael Randolph

Michael Randolph is an experienced transportation planner currently serving as a Senior Transportation Planner at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency since May 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Transportation Planner at the City of Oakland, where leadership was demonstrated in the development of the Zero Emission Vehicle Action Plan. Michael's career includes roles at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates as an Associate, focusing on multimodal planning and social equity, and at the Transportation Sustainability Research Center as a Transportation Researcher, engaging in data analysis and research on automated vehicles and shared mobility. Earlier professional experience involves managing the City of Oakland's Car Share Permit programs and supporting advocacy efforts at the Conservation Law Foundation. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Brown University.
