Ahmed Tanveer

Ahmed Tanveer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ahmed'smost recent position was as the Chief Operating Officer at Daraz, where they have been serving since January 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Group Head of Fulfilment in 2019, Country Head of Fulfilment in 2018, and Head of Internal Operations from 2016 to 2017. In 2015, they started their journey at Daraz as an Operations Manager.

Before joining Daraz, Ahmed worked at Rocket Internet GmbH, where they held multiple roles at Daraz.pk. Ahmed was the AM Logistics in 2014, the Inventory Manager in 2013, and the Project Manager in 2012.

Prior to their career in the e-commerce industry, Ahmed briefly worked at the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in 2011, where they served in an operations role.

Overall, Ahmed has a strong background in operations and fulfillment management, with extensive experience in the e-commerce industry.

Ahmed Tanveer began their education in 2008 at the Institute of Business Management, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing. Ahmed completed their degree in 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Ahmed obtained the Certified Supply Chain Planner (CSCP) certification from the APICS Supply Chain Council in December 2014. Ahmed also acquired the Warehousing Best Practices certification from the Supply Chain Capacity Development Initiative (SCCDI) in April 2013.

Later, in March 2019, Ahmed achieved the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Singapore Quality Institute. Additionally, they obtained the Expert Speaker - Future Warehouse certification from the marcus evans Group in the same month.

More recently, in 2021, Ahmed enrolled in online courses at Harvard Business School. Ahmed completed the Leadership Principles course and the Strategy Execution course, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of business.
