Ashraful currently holds the position of Head of Demand & In-stock Planning at Daraz Bangladesh, where they are responsible for designing and implementing the demand and in-stock planning process, building a framework for efficient Fulfilled by Daraz management, and ensuring complete visibility of capacity planning.
Prior to their current role, Bhuiyan worked at Apex Footwear Limited as the Manager of Demand Planning & Fulfillment. In this position, they drove demand planning and ensured the supply of over 3000 SKUs across multiple channels and retail stores. Ashraful also managed stock replenishment and planned with half-yearly sales forecasts.
Bhuiyan also gained significant experience at LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited, where they held multiple roles. As Deputy Manager of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), they implemented and monitored the S&OP process for a large yearly volume, prepared supply plans, and optimized logistics costs. Ashraful also served as a Senior Executive in S&OP, KPI & Reporting, where they determined monthly demand and supply volumes, prepared supply plans, and maintained optimum stock levels. Additionally, they worked as an Executive in Planning, where they made monthly supply and stock movement plans, and as an Officer in Logistics, where they planned and controlled distribution center operations.
Before their roles at LafargeHolcim, Bhuiyan started their career as a Business Development Associate at Mind Mapper Ltd., where they assisted in preparing consultancy proposals, developed an understanding of client's supply chains, and promoted educational products.

Ashraful Islam Bhuiyan, CSCA™, completed their education in a chronological manner. Ashraful started their academic journey at Yousufganj High School in Narayanganj, where they studied Business Studies and obtained their SSC degree from 2002 to 2004. Ashraful then attended A K M Rahmatullah College in Dhaka, specializing in Business Studies, and completed their HSC degree from 2004 to 2006.
After their undergraduate studies, Ashraful enrolled in the University of Dhaka and pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems. Ashraful attended the university from 2008 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same university, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems from 2012 to 2013.

Ashraful obtained certified status as a Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA™) from the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) from ISCEA.
