Dristi Shrestha

Dristi Shrestha has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. In 2015, they started their career as a Substitute Teacher at St. Mary's Higher Secondary School in Nepal. In 2017, they worked as a Student Manager at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services, where they gained valuable management skills. During their time at Illinois College, starting in 2017, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Tutor, as well as an International Student Mentor Intern from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they became a Credit Analyst Intern at Himalayan Bank Limited. In 2020, they interned as a Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship Intern at Upkey.

Dristi joined Daraz in 2021, where they held multiple positions within the Search Operations team. Dristi started as a Jr. Search Operations Associate from October 2021 to March 2022, then advanced to Sr. Search Operations Associate from March 2022 to September 2022. Dristi briefly served as the Interim Head of Search Operations for Nepal from September 2022 to December 2022. In January 2023, they transitioned to the role of Regional Search Operations Executive, before ultimately being promoted to their current position as the Head of Search Operations for Nepal at Daraz in August 2023.

Dristi Shrestha completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, and Business Administration from Illinois College from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Ullens School in Khumaltar, Nepal from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate. Before that, they attended St. Mary's Higher Secondary School in Jawalakhel, Nepal and earned their High School Diploma from 2003 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Dristi Shrestha also obtained several certifications. Dristi completed a Crash Course on Python from Google in November 2020. In October 2020, they completed the Commercial Banking Virtual Experience program offered by J.P. Morgan. Furthermore, they completed courses in Learning Python and Learning SQL Programming from LinkedIn in August 2020.
