Gihan Thakshara

Gihan Thakshara has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2018, they started their career as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Aqua Dynamics Private Limited. From February 2019 to December 2020, Gihan worked as an Executive - MIS & Analytics at Airtel Careers Sri Lanka. In 2020, they joined Daraz and held multiple positions, including Strategy and Performance Planner, Assistant Manager of Strategy & Planning, and currently serves as the Manager of Strategy and Planning. Gihan's diverse experience showcases their skills in strategy development, planning, performance analysis, and data analytics.

Gihan Thakshara completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Peradeniya, from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. These include "Python 101 for Data Science" from Cognitive Class in July 2020, "Diploma in Statistics" from Alison - Free Online Learning in October 2017, "SQL" certification from TestDome in September 2019, and "Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)" from Red Hat in August 2019.
