Hosney Tonmoy started their work experience as an intern at the Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Ltd in June 2014. After that, they worked as a Customer Service Manager at vugol Holidays from November 2014 to June 2015. Hosney then joined Arla Foods as a Territory Officer from August 2015 to October 2016. Following that, they served as an Executive at the Institute of Business and Economic Research (IBER) from November 2016 to March 2017. Hosney then joined Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh as a Territory Sales Manager from April 2017 to February 2020. After that, they worked at the Mutual Trading Company Ltd (GSK) as an Area Sales Manager from February 2020 to December 2021. Hosney then became a Divisional Sales Manager at the same company and held that position until December 2022. Currently, they are working as the Category Strategy and Growth Lead at Daraz starting from December 2022.

Hosney Tonmoy pursued their education in business administration with a focus on finance and marketing. Hosney completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at United International University from 2010 to 2014. Later, in 2018 to 2019, they furthered their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing.
