Ismail Tahir has a vast and diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ismail has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in HR, IT management, and project management.

Ismail'smost recent position was as the Regional Head of HR Strategy, Rewards and Governance at Daraz, where they led strategic HR initiatives across multiple ventures and offices. Ismail formulated and implemented rewards and recognition strategies and coordinated share option plans.

Before their role at Daraz, Ismail worked as the Head of HR - Logistics at the same company. In this position, they partnered with operations department and managed over 1500 direct and outsourced employees across multiple locations. Ismail also served as the Financial Controller for the HPC business and the Corporate Risk Management and Information Security Manager.

Ismail also has experience at Ford Rhodes Robson Morrow, inTech Solutions, SC Software Services, International Investment & Financial Services Limited, International Office Products (Pvt) Limited, and Iqra Services (Pvt) Limited. In these roles, they gained expertise in IT management, project management, and software development.

Ismail Tahir's education history includes a range of degrees and certifications. Ismail obtained an MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Business Administration from 1994 to 1998. Ismail also completed a Diploma in Project Management at the Pakistan Institute of Management from 2013 to 2014. In addition, they earned a Two Year Diploma in Computer Science from the Petroman Training Institute from 1988 to 1990.

Furthermore, Ismail Tahir has several additional certifications. In 2006, they became a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditor. Ismail obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in 2001.
