Talha Siddiqui

Talha Siddiqui has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Talha currently holds the position of Director of Logistics at Daraz, starting in July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Logistics at Daraz from April 2022. Talha also held the role of Head of Transport at Daraz from October 2019 to March 2022.

Before joining Daraz, Talha worked as the National Operations Manager at Ali Gohar & Company from April 2017 to September 2019.

Talha also had extensive experience at Abudawood Pakistan, where they served as the Regional Customer Services and Logistics Manager-South from February 2017 to March 2017, Regional Customer Services and Logistics Manager-North from January 2016 to January 2017, and Branch Customer Services and Logistics Manager from January 2013 to December 2015. In this role, Talha was responsible for heading warehousing and logistics operations, implementing quality assurance programs, optimizing cost as a percentage of sales, negotiating contracts, and improving overall supply execution rates.

Earlier in their career, Talha worked at Al Abid Textile Mills Limited as a Marketing Executive from November 2010 to August 2011. Here, they achieved significant results by standardizing pricing strategies, formulating marketing plans, and maximizing local manufacturing and packaging of accessories finished products.

Talha began their career as an Internee at Abudawood Trading Company Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. in June 2009, where they gained experience in analyzing order fill rates, proposing new payment methods, conducting time and motion studies for warehouse operations, and assisting in various optimization projects.

Talha's early work experience includes serving as a Merchandiser at Artistic Garment Industries from July 2006 to June 2008. Here, they effectively managed sourcing, sampling, and execution for key accounts, reduced procurement costs, and successfully implemented Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.

Overall, Talha Siddiqui has a strong background in logistics, operations management, marketing, and merchandising across various industries. Talha has consistently demonstrated their ability to optimize operational processes, improve customer service, and achieve cost savings.

Talha Siddiqui's education history begins with obtaining a Certificate in Negotiations Mastery from Harvard Business School Online in 2021. Prior to that, they completed an MBA degree in General Management from Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2008 to 2010. Earlier in their academic journey, they earned a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Textile Sciences from Textile Institute of Pakistan, graduating in 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Talha Siddiqui has also obtained certifications in various fields. In 2015, they received a certification in Body Language for Leaders from LinkedIn. Recently, in March 2022, they acquired another certification titled "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit" from LinkedIn.
