Zamin Ali has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Zamin started their career as an intern at Pakistan International Airlines in 2011 and later interned at Indus Motor Company Ltd in 2012. In 2013, Zamin joined General Tyre And Rubber Company of Pakistan Ltd as a Management Trainee in Mechanical Maintenance.

From 2013 to 2018, Zamin worked at K-Electric, starting as a Trainee Engineer and eventually progressing to the role of Deputy Manager Projects. In this role, they were responsible for managing capital projects in the Mechanical rotary section, increasing equipment efficiency and lifespan through various projects, and handling budgeting and costing. Zamin also focused on enhancing technical and managerial capabilities and localizing parts manufacturing. Zamin conducted internal audits and maintained effective communication with stakeholders.

In 2018, Zamin joined Daraz and held multiple positions. Zamin initially served as a Project and Performance Manager, responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring optimal performance. In 2020, Zamin was promoted to Senior Manager Operations, where they played a crucial role in managing operations efficiently. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Operations Excellence, leading the team in achieving operational excellence.

Throughout their career, Zamin has acquired expertise in a range of equipment, including steam turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and valves. Zamin is skilled in maintenance planning, root cause analysis, and ensuring safety and quality in all maintenance activities. Zamin is also experienced in preparing reports, conducting toolbox talks, and implementing risk assessments.

Zamin Ali's education history is as follows:

Zamin Ali obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Institute of Business Administration, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology from 2009 to 2012.

Before pursuing their bachelor's degree, Zamin Ali attended Adamjee Government Science College from 2006 to 2008, where they completed their Intermediate degree in Pre-Engineering. Zamin'ssecondary education took place at Nasra Secondary School Karachi, where they studied from 1996 to 2006 and obtained their SSC degree in Science, with a focus on Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Zamin Ali has obtained several certifications. Zamin is a certified Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA II) from the International Council for Machinery Lubrication. Zamin has also received training in Condition Based Management (Monitoring & Maintenance) from Plant Asset Efficiency Solutions and has completed the Emerging Managers program conducted by Advantedge & Partners (Pvt) Ltd. Furthermore, Zamin Ali has taken courses in Integrated Management System (IMS) Internal Auditor Training based on ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 Standards from Bureau Veritas. Zamin has also received training in the SAP ERP 6 (Plant Maintenance and Material Management Module) from K-Electric. Additionally, Zamin Ali has completed a course in Supply Chain Management from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. Zamin has received training in Variable Speed Drives & Zero Unplanned Downtime from Voith Turbo and in Vibration Analysis - Level II from the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission.
