M.D. Samsul Islam

Md Samsul Islam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in stakeholder relations and government interactions. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Stakeholder Relations at Daraz since August 2021, Md Samsul Islam focuses on online marketplace dynamics. Prior to this role, a significant tenure at banglalink as Government Relations Senior Manager spanned from May 2012 to June 2022, having also held managerial positions earlier in the company. Additionally, Md Samsul Islam contributed to Grameenphone Ltd as a Senior Executive from March 2006 to May 2012 and began a career at J-Tex Bangladesh Liaison Office as the In Charge of the Shipping Department from January 2002 to February 2006. Md Samsul Islam holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management from the Royal University of Dhaka, completed between 2004 and 2005.
