John Tolley

John Tolley is an accomplished Engineering Manager with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects across various sectors. Currently at Darchem Engineering Ltd. since March 2022, John oversees a team focused on the design and development of metallic fabrications and thermal insulation solutions, including fire testing laboratory responsibilities. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at Propipe Limited, where John managed the design and delivery of engineering solutions for the energy sector, and Engineering & Quality Manager at IK-UK Ltd., ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards. John's career began at Gestamp, where John built a solid foundation in design engineering and project management. John holds a Master's degree in Engineering Design from Loughborough University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northumbria University, complemented by HND and HNC qualifications in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Darlington College.
