Katarzyna Dembska is an experienced professional in startup acceleration, project management, and nutrition with a diverse background spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Judge for MassChallenge Switzerland, Katarzyna previously held the role of Catalyst Program Director at the Global Entrepreneurship Centre, where dynamic accelerator programs for international startups were developed. Additional roles include external and guest lecturer positions at JAMK University of Applied Sciences, ISA Lille, and Gustolab International Institute for Food Studies, as well as significant contributions to the Barilla Foundation as a Research Project Manager and Coordinator. Katarzyna's expertise also extends to the European Commission as a Nutrition Advisor, focusing on sustainable food choices. An educational background includes an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and advanced degrees in Food Science and Dietetics from Università degli Studi di Firenze.

Dare IT is a social business that encourages and supports women to start and develop their career in the tech industry. We want to build an inclusive tech world so that technology is built for and serves everyone and not just a selected few. As part of our business we run a mentorship program, where participants can explore and acquire knowledge in the area of their choice: User Experience Design (UX), User Interface & Visual Design (UI), Web Development, Data Science, Project Management, Digital Marketing and many other. Women are supported by mentors who work in various positions within the tech industry on an ongoing basis. At Dare IT we believe that women should play a major role in the tech industry, and not be confined to a minority. To close the gender gap, we aim to make women in tech industry more visible so that other girls & women can visualize themselves in similar roles more easily.
