Ann Mitrione

Ann Mitrione has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on branch administration, retail services, and training. Ann started their career at Citi in 1990 as a Vice President, holding the position until 1998. Ann then joined Bank of America as a Vice President from 1998 to 2004. Following that, Ann returned to Citi as a Vice President, where they worked from 2004 to 2012. Ann subsequently joined Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Ann joined Bankwell Financial Group, Inc. as a Vice President and Branch Manager. During their tenure, they exceeded expectations in sales growth, client satisfaction, and community involvement. Ann transformed a non-performing branch into a top-performing branch and grew branch deposits by $96.1 million or 119.7%. Ann also played a key role in upgrading the digital platform as part of an executive new vendor search committee. Ann increased brand and product awareness in the community through various initiatives such as educational seminars and leveraging successful marketing programs. In addition, Ann supervised three branches for six months, leading a team of fourteen professionals. Ann co-founded the Bankwell Pet Adoption Program.

Currently, Ann Mitrione holds a senior leadership position at DR Bank, where they started in 2019 as a VP, Branch Administrator and now serves as an SVP, Director of Branch Administration and Physical Security Officer.

Ann Mitrione completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Fairfield University between the years 1985 to 1989. Ann then attended the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the Consumer Bankers Association from 2007 to 2009.
