Omar Manejwala is a nationally recognized expert on compulsive behaviors and the author of Craving: Why We Can't Seem to Get Enough. Omar is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Dario.

Manejwala's book explores the root cause of cravings and provides tools and guidance to find satisfaction without giving in to them. The book has been well-received by critics, with Publishers Weekly calling it "thought provoking" and San Francisco Book Review giving it 5 stars.

Before their work at Dario, Manejwala was in private practice as a psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist. Omar has also served as the Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services at a large community hospital and as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Omar Manejwala has an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, as well as an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Omar also has a B.A. from St. John's College. In addition, they have certification from Columbia Business School in Digital Health Strategy, Coursera in Digital Transformation, and the Certifying Commission on Medical Management in Certified Physician Executive.
