John Cassaday

John Cassaday is a highly accomplished illustrator, writer, and director with extensive experience in the comic and film industries. At Marvel Entertainment since 1997, Cassaday illustrated the Eisner Award-winning series ASTONISHING X-MEN, and co-directed its motion comic. As an illustrator for DC Comics, Cassaday co-created the Eisner Award-winning series PLANETARY, while also contributing to Dark Horse Comics with their work on HELLBOY: STRANGE TALES. Additionally, Cassaday served as a cover artist for various titles at Dynamite Entertainment and worked on THE ROCKETEER ADVENTURES at IDW Publishing. In television, Cassaday directed an episode of the FOX series DOLLHOUSE and has held the role of concept artist for the film WATCHMEN. Cassaday’s educational background includes studies at the University of North Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
