John Sprengelmeyer

John Sprengelmeyer is a seasoned Senior Illustrator at Epic Games since January 2023, specializing in in-game, character-specific illustrations. As a Creator and Artist at Dark Horse Comics, LLC, John co-created and illustrated the MASKERADE comic book series from November 2021. John is an award-winning freelance Illustrator and Designer with an extensive career starting in 1992, collaborating with notable companies such as DC Comics, Hasbro, and Whataburger, among others. John has contributed to various mediums, including a graphic novel for Splunk and the comic strip "CAPTAIN RIBMAN," which received accolades from Yahoo!. Additionally, John co-owned and designed a themed restaurant, Captain RibMan's MEAT MARKET Sports Bar & Grill. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Illustration/English from The University of Kansas and an Associate's Degree in Visual Communications & Advertising from The Art Institutes.
