Akshay Joshi

Akshay Joshi is a seasoned professional with a robust background in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Dark Matter Technologies since September 2023, Akshay previously held the role of Data Scientist at Black Knight from June 2018 to September 2023. Early in the career, Akshay worked as a Software Engineer at HeavyWater Inc. and completed internships at Information Sciences Institute, HeavyWater Inc., and BMC Software, where contributions included developing scalable document processing engines and automation tools. Akshay holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and Savitribai Phule Pune University.
