Steven Turner

Steven Turner has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Steven currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Darkhive since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at CTI for over 12 years, starting in January 2009, where they held the position of Director of Technology. In this role, they led CTI's Technology Division and was responsible for software solutions in the areas of tactical signals intelligence and electronic warfare. Steven actively supported the division's growth by writing proposals, developing code during field exercises, and recruiting a talented team of engineers.

Before joining CTI, Steven worked as a Developer at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics from September 2008 to May 2009. Steven also gained experience as a Programmer, Web Designer, and IT professional at Quality Built Homes, Inc. from June 2004 to September 2008. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Microwave Photonics Technician at the Naval Research Laboratory in June and August 2006, where they conducted research on fiber communications and tunable optical bandpass filters.

Steven Turner earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics and Computer Science from St. Mary's College of Maryland, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they also briefly studied at the University of St Andrews, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics and Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Steven obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in May 2014.
