Paul Patrick

EVP of Engineering. / Chief Product Officer at DarkLight

Paul Patrick has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry. Paul began their career in 1985 at Digital Equipment Corporation (USA) as a Principle Engineer. In 1997, they joined BEA Systems as a Staff Engineer and Architect, where they were responsible for leading the re-architecture of BEA's ObjectBroker CORBA ORB technology and co-architecting BEA's new Object Transaction Monitor "Iceberg" or M3. Paul was also responsible for the joint architecture of a new service-based security infrastructure. In 2000, they were promoted to Chief Architect and VP, and was a key member of the team responsible for identifying future BEA product offerings. Paul was also involved in the emergence of the concept of a Service Network and the creation of the microService architecture. In 2008, they left BEA Systems to join Business Objects, an SAP Company, as VP/Chief Development Architect. Paul then moved to Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services, where they were Director of Cyber Technology in the Office of CTO. In 2014, they founded DaedaFusion LLC, where they were the Founder and visionary behind the creation of a cyber intelligence platform. Paul then joined iSIGHT Partners as Principal Software Engineer/Chief Architect in 2015, and FireEye, Inc. as Chief Architect & Distinguished Engineer, Services & Intelligence Engineering in 2016. In 2020, they joined DarkLight as EVP of Engineering/Chief Product Officer.
