Rebecca Beason - PhD

Rebecca Beason has over 18 years of professional experience in the field of data science. Rebecca began their career in 2002 as a Research Assistant at the Information Retrieval Laboratory. In 2007, they joined BAE Systems as a Senior Principal Engineer and Principal Investigator. During their 12-year tenure at BAE, they contributed expertise in a dual role of Principal Engineer and Investigator. Rebecca proactively developed cost-conscious risk analysis and devised solutions to encourage cyber resiliency. In 2019, Rebecca joined DarkOwl as a Sr. Data Scientist.

Rebecca Beason obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Math from Southern Adventist University between 1998 and 2002. Rebecca then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2004. Rebecca continued their studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology and obtained their Doctorate degree in Computer Science in 2007.
