About the Role 

Are you an events marketing expert with experience executing large industry events and conferences, customer conferences and sales kick-off for GTM teams? Do you have a proven record leading a comprehensive marketing presence at Blackhat, RSA, InfoSec, and more? Do you thrive on creativity, project management, execution excellence and delivering outstanding performance?   • Develop and manage event marketing plans, project timelines, and manage stakeholder workstreams to deliver outstanding results at major industry and Darktrace-led large-scale events.  
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with agencies, event organization, and key Darktrace leaders and stakeholders to share insights, set market priorities, and communicate quarterly plans and performance. 
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams and manage plans, timelines, deliverables, and critical decisions while inspiring and sharing value.  
  • Be part of the evolution: bring innovative ideas to elevate and automate Darktrace events and technology solutions that improve the participant experience live and virtually including registration, meeting schedules, satisfaction surveys, mobile app, and more.  
  • Research and analyze critical data to target new logos, existing customers, and advance the overall effectiveness of events. 
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility for forecast and budget management with 100% accuracy. 
  • Operational excellence in driving performance, operational information, and communications at every stage of the event cycle.  

What Skills and Experiences You Need 

  • 8+ years’ experience planning, managing, and achieving strong outcomes for large-scale industry and company events.  
  • Strong, effective communication skills including presentation, written, and verbal. 
  • Proven success in executing multiple events simultaneously managing internal and external resources. 
  • Experience with industry-wide technologies for registration, virtual experiences, mobile applications, and more.  
  • A motivated initiative-taker that is curious, shows a bias for action and can deal with ambiguity by sharing ideas and solutions as the business continues to grow and expand.  
  • Expertise in project, program, and event management, with strong demonstratable operational and organization skills and mastery of planning & execution frameworks  
  • Excels at cross-group collaboration, communication and problem solving. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or related field preferred 
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
