Andrew Detor

Andrew Detor is a Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since September 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles. Prior to DARPA, Andrew served as a Senior Principal Materials Scientist at GE Research from November 2008 to August 2022. Andrew began a career in research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from August 2007 to November 2008. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtained in 2007, and a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned in 2003.
