Justin Kokernak

Justin Kokernak currently serves as a Program Security Officer at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since July 2023. With an extensive military background, Justin has been a member of the Vermont Army National Guard since May 2008, holding titles such as Commander of the Officer Candidate School, Intelligence Officer, and Military Police Officer. Prior experience includes roles at System High Corporation as Functional Area Lead and Program Security Representative, as well as a Senior Intelligence Officer for the US Army overseeing the Kosovo Security Force. Justin's earlier tenure at MIT Lincoln Laboratory from February 2011 to January 2019 involved managing a compartmented security program, providing oversight as a Special Security Team Lead, and fulfilling duties as a Contract Program Security Officer. Educational qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Studies in War and Peace from Norwich University, completed in 2008.
