Matthew Pava

Matthew Pava is a Program Manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where responsibilities include managing a diverse portfolio of research programs in the Biological Technologies Office that aim to innovate in fields such as cognition enhancement and critical manufacturing solutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Lockheed Martin's Advanced Technologies Laboratories, with a focus on mobile health and bioinformatics, and founding the Chronobiology and Sleep Scientific Interest Group at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). As a Post-Doctoral IRTA Fellow at NIH, research concentrated on the neurobiological mechanisms of sleep-wake states and their disruption due to substance use.
