Edward J. Merrens

Edward J. Merrens is a highly accomplished Chief Clinical Officer at Dartmouth Health, also serving as a Hospitalist and holding various executive medical positions within the organization. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. In addition to his healthcare roles, Edward has an impressive background as a Team Physician for various United States Olympic & Paralympic Committees, including serving in this capacity at multiple Winter Olympic Games. Edward's diverse educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Dartmouth College, a Doctor of Medicine from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, a Masters in Health Care Delivery Science from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and a Chief Resident position at Harborview Medical Center. Prior to his medical career, Edward conducted tropical rainforest research in Indonesia as a Tropical Rainforest Researcher with Harvard University.
