Richard Mello

Richard Mello is the Director of Safety and Security at Dartmouth Health. He is also the Owner/Consultant at Mello Consulting and Training, where his vast experience in law enforcement and legal matters is utilized to provide services to various sectors. Additionally, Richard serves as an Assessor at the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Norwich University, and an Adjunct Faculty at New England College. His career includes roles such as Chief of Police at the Lebanon Police Department, Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy, and Lieutenant/Executive Officer at the Hollis Police Department. Richard also worked as a Police Officer at the Manchester NH Police Department and has degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.
