James (J.T.) Erbaugh is an accomplished Environmental Social Scientist at The Nature Conservancy since August 2021 and serves as affiliated faculty and a postdoctoral researcher at Dartmouth College. James completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Resources Management and Policy at the University of Michigan, where James (J.T.) also worked as a doctoral student and graduate student research assistant from September 2013 to September 2018. Prior academic endeavors include obtaining an MPhil in Nature, Society, and Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Philosophy from Miami University. Additional experience includes serving as an English Teaching Assistant with Fulbright Indonesia and as an 8th Grade Science Teacher with Teach for America.
