Launny Steffens is the Founder, Chairman, and Senior Managing Director of Spring Mountain Capital, LP, a private investment firm specializing in advisory services and alternative investments. Steffens holds directorship roles at Colony Capital and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Cicero Inc. Additionally, Steffens is a member of the Board of Overseers at Dartmouth Medical School and an Advisory Board Member at StarVest Partners and Wicks Communication and Media Partners, L.P. As the Founder of Vineyard 7&8, a high-end winery, Steffens contributes to the production of premium wines in Napa Valley. Previous experience includes serving as Vice Chairman of Merrill Lynch & Co. and Chairman of the U.S. Private Client Group, where substantial growth in assets under management was achieved. Steffens earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
