Meaghan Leonard

Meaghan Leonard is an experienced fundraising professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Global Engagement and Philanthropy at Dartmouth College, a position held since April 2020. In this role, Meaghan oversees international fundraising and alumni engagement across various regions, develops Dartmouth’s first international advancement program, and manages multiple advisory boards of major donors. Prior to Dartmouth, Meaghan held the position of Director of Global Strategies at New York University, focusing on major gift fundraising in diverse international markets. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Director at CCS Fundraising, where Meaghan led significant capital campaigns and secured substantial seven- and eight-figure gifts. Meaghan began a career in education, teaching English and History at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and Meten English. Meaghan holds a BA in History from James Madison University and has further education from Peking University.
