Nick Amabile

Nick Amabile is the current CEO at DAS42. Prior to this, they were a co-founder and principle at FullStack Analytics, a data and analytics consulting firm based in Brooklyn, NY. At FullStack Analytics, Nick built data pipelines and delivered business value from data using the latest technologies and analytical techniques.

Before their time at FullStack Analytics, Nick was the Director of Business Intelligence at Jet.com. In this role, they provided the strategic vision that enabled a data-driven culture at Jet and helped teams across the organization use data more effectively by distilling business requirements and analytical challenges into technical solutions. Some of their notable projects include translating business processes into an enterprise data warehouse model, building a big data pipeline using Hadoop, Spark, and Presto in Microsoft Azure that allowed business users to easily analyze unstructured and high volume datasets, and automating and standardizing reporting using SQL, Ruby, and Python scripts.

Prior to Jet.com, Nick was the Senior Manager of Business Insights at Etsy from November 2013 to October 2015.

Nick Amabile holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Miami. Nick also has a PhD in Economics from American University.
