Andrew Welsman

Andrew Welsman is a seasoned software and DevOps engineer with extensive experience in cloud-based technologies and software development. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Dash Social, Andrew manages high-availability Kubernetes clusters, oversees AWS managed datastores, and facilitates the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices within development teams. Prior to this role, Andrew was a Senior Software Engineer at BeyondTrust, where a cross-platform encrypted value store was created, and contributed to streaming video analysis services at aioTV Inc., utilizing machine learning and cloud technologies. Earlier experience includes developing naval training software at Lockheed Martin, where recognition was received for dedication to project deadlines, and participation in radar simulations at GreenLight Software Solutions. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Dalhousie University.
