Devaraj PR has been working in the IT industry since 1987. Devaraj began their career as an Account Manager at PSI Data Systems, where they worked until 1993. Devaraj then moved to Microland, where they served as Vice President until 2007. After that, they joined Cognizant as SVP and Global Delivery Head - Cloud Practice & Center Head - Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore, and was later promoted to SVP & Global IT Head - Technology Services & Operations, Center Head - Bangalore, Mysore & Mangalore, VP - IT Infrastructure Services, AVP - IT Infrastructure Services and Director - IT Infrastructure Services. In 2021, they began working at Axis Bank as an Information Technology Consultant and at Dashboard Account Aggregation Services Private Limited as an Independent Director & Board Member.

Devaraj PR's education history includes a Secondary School degree from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Coimbatore from 1976 to 1979, an HSC from Carmel Garden Matriculation School from 1979 to 1981, a BSc in Physics from PSG College Of Arts and Science from 1981 to 1984, and an MBA from Cochin University of Science and Technology from 1984 to 1986.
