Pavol Knapek

Pavol Knapek is a Big Data Solution Architect at Dashmote since September 2022, with extensive experience in data platform engineering, particularly focused on Apache Spark and AWS/Databricks technologies. Previously, Pavol served as a Senior Data Platform Engineer at Emplifi from February 2021 to January 2023, where a leadership role included establishing an internal education group to enhance data engineering skills. Additional roles include Data Platform Engineer at Socialbakers (now Emplifi), backend and frontend development at Edvisor.io, and systems and data integration at Socialbakers.com. Pavol's career began with a summer internship as a Junior Big Data Specialist at IBM, following studies at Gartner & Czech Technical University. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Web and Software Engineering from the Czech Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
