Carsten Hjorth Jensen

Carsten Hjorth Jensen has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Carsten is currently working at DAT-Schaub A/S as the Senior Director and Product Line Manager for Mucosa-Heparin Natural Casings. Prior to this, they served as the CEO and Managing Director at Syntese A/S & FTPL India from 2018 to 2021. Carsten also worked at BASF as the Site Manager and Manufacturing Community Manager from 2014 to 2018. Before that, they were the Managing Director at Pronova BioPharma Danmark A/S from 2011 to 2014. Carsten Hjorth Jensen held senior positions at Pronova BioPharma and LEO Pharma, including Vice President of Manufacturing and Production Director, respectively. Carsten began their career at KAS Central Pharmacy, where they worked as a production employee.

Carsten Hjorth Jensen completed their education at two different institutions. From 1984 to 1990, they attended The Danish University of Pharmaceutical Sciences, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy. In 2002, Carsten pursued further education at SIMI (Scandinavian International Management Institute) and received a Diploma in MMPI (Managing Medical Product Innovation).
