Karen Lopez

Karen Lopez is currently a Lifetime Advisor at the Data Management Association. Karen previously served on the Advisory Committee for Zachman International from March 2012 to May 2020, and was a member of the DAMA International Advisory Board from March 2010 to November 2015. In September 2018, they were appointed DAMA Governance and Ethics Officer and served in this role until December 2018. Karen has also been a member of the AITP Standards of Conduct and Ethics Committee from May 2006 to May 2012, and the AITP Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee from January 2000 to May 2012. In addition, they served as Director of Professional Standards for the Canadian Information Processing Society from May 1999 to May 2004.

Karen Lopez has a B. Sc. in Computer Technology from Purdue University. Karen has certification from Microsoft in Microsoft Certified Trainer 2022-2023, and Azure Data Engineer Associate. Karen also has certification from Mic in Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
