Joshua Bagnato

Joshua Bagnato has a long history of experience in the software engineering field. Joshua began their career in 2006 as a Chemist at Idaho Technology, Inc., where they optimized and scaled up manufacturing processes for DNA binding dyes, improved and scaled up an internal oligo manufacturing facility, and automated liquid handling of GMP manufactured oligonucleotides. In 2011, they joined BioFire Diagnostics, Inc. as a Software Engineer II, where they developed and launched an internal MES system and integrated and developed liquid handling robotic methods to support automated manufacturing processes. Joshua was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer, where their primary responsibility was to develop and integrate manufacturing equipment to the in-house MES system. In 2012, they became Managing Partner at Saga Ventures, LLC, providing software consulting services primarily focused on .Net applications. Finally, in 2017, they joined Impartner Software as a Principle Software Engineer, and in 2020, they joined DataNinja, Inc. as Chief Software Engineer. At DataNinja, they oversee the day-to-day development team decisions to streamline fully paperless operations even for highly regulated industries, with favorite new features including AQL Quality Inspections, Workflow Automation Engine, and DQL user-driven custom fields.

Joshua Bagnato received their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Arizona in 1999. Joshua then went on to pursue a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Utah, which they completed in 2004.
