Dr. Shashank Gavel has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Ph.D. Doctoral Student at the National Institute of Technology Raipur, where they gained experience in data science using machine learning, artificial intelligence, deep learning, signal processing, and statistical approaches. Dr. Shashank also built advanced and efficient models for intrusion detection, anomaly detection, and fault detection in various industries, IoTs, wireless sensor networks, wireless networks, and medical healthcare. Additionally, they served as a faculty lecturer, teaching electronics and communication engineering and being a member of the departmental accreditation committee.

In 2020, Dr. Gavel worked as a data scientist intern at Jan Elaaj. Currently, they are employed at Data Poem, starting as an AI scientist in April 2021 and progressing to senior AI scientist in January 2022. Currently, they hold the position of AI lead.

Dr. Shashank Gavel has a strong educational background, culminating in a Ph.D. in Data Science from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, which they obtained from 2016 to 2021. During their doctoral studies, they specialized in various fields such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Network Security, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Internet of Things, Python, and Deep Learning.

Prior to their Ph.D., Dr. Gavel completed their M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Shashank initially pursued their undergraduate education at Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, where they obtained a B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from 2007 to 2011.

Alongside their formal education, Dr. Gavel has also earned additional certifications to enhance their skillset. Dr. Shashank has completed courses such as "Data Science," "Introduction to Programming Using Python," and "Machine Learning and Deep Learning" from Coursera. Although the specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided, they have contributed to their expertise in the field.
