Claire Zhao

Claire Zhao has extensive experience in quantitative and digital sciences, particularly in AI/ML applications within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. At Pfizer, Claire has served as Director and Associate Director, leading AI/ML initiatives in quantitative and digital sciences from June 2022 to June 2024. Prior to Pfizer, Claire worked at Philips from May 2016 to June 2022 as a Senior Scientist and Scientist. Claire's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where research focused on computational medicine, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Early career experience includes roles at TD Asset Management as a Quantitative Analyst Intern and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo.
