Alon Mazafi

Alon Mazafi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and machine learning, currently serving as the Data Science Team Leader at Data Science Group since October 2019. Responsibilities include managing client solution development processes, defining product roadmaps, and building teams to achieve key performance indicators. Previous roles include Data Scientist focused on fintech and industrial machine learning applications, at Jellyfish, where trading algorithms were developed, and at ParKam, where computer vision algorithms for parking spot detection were created. Alon started an academic career as a Teaching Assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, assisting in statistical data analysis and medical devices, while also contributing as a Research Assistant in nanobioelectronics. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Machine Learning and Biomedical Engineering and an Engineer's degree in Biomedical Engineering, both from Ben-Gurion University. Prior military experience includes intelligence roles in the Israel Defense Forces.
