Amit Wolfenfeld

Amit Wolfenfeld is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in leading research teams and developing machine learning models across various industries. Currently serving as Data Science Team Leader at Placer.ai since May 2021, Amit focuses on modeling user behavior utilizing mobility data. Previously, at Unbotify, leadership was provided for a team dedicated to behavioral analytics and fraud detection, where Amit developed models to identify bots in mobile applications. Amit's background includes a role as Senior Data Scientist at Medisafe, where data tools and operational infrastructures were developed, and experience as a Data Scientist at Trax Retail, extracting insights from data patterns. Earlier roles include CTO at Velis Media, leading technology initiatives in adtech, and founding HWD, specializing in internet marketing strategies. Amit's technical foundation was built as a Verification Engineer at Mellanox Technologies, followed by advanced degrees in Electronic Engineering and Physics from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
