Amjad abu-Rmileh

Amjad Abu-Rmileh, Ph.D. has a range of experience in the fields of data science and neuroscience. Amjad currently holds the position of Chief Data Scientist at the Data Science Group, where they have been employed since March 2020. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at the same company from August 2018 to March 2020. Amjad Abu-Rmileh also has experience in academia, having held the position of Visiting Lecturer at Arab American University since March 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Researcher at Microsoft from July 2017 to August 2018. Amjad has also held roles as a Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, focusing on brain-computer interfaces and neural signal processing. Amjad Abu-Rmileh has a strong academic background, having earned their Ph.D. while working as a Researcher and PhD candidate at Universitat de Girona from January 2009 to December 2013. Amjad also gained research experience as a Visiting Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer at MSS Co. from 2006 to 2007. Amjad Abu-Rmileh, Ph.D. has an extensive education history in the field of biomedical engineering and experimental sciences. Amjad received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Amjad then pursued a Master of Science degree in Automation and System Engineering at the Universidad de Sevilla, studying from 2007 to 2008. Amjad Abu-Rmileh further continued their academic journey and obtained a Ph.D. in Experimental Sciences, specializing in Biomedical Engineering, from the Universitat de Girona, completing their studies from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Amjad Abu-Rmileh has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills and knowledge. Amjad completed the "DevOps for Data Scientists" certification from LinkedIn in July 2021, the "Zero to Deep Learning with Python and Keras" certification from Udemy in September 2017, and the "Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation" certification from Udacity in July 2017.
