Ana Guedes

Ana Guedes is a Senior Data Scientist at NOVO BANCO since February 2024, with a robust academic and professional background in data science and analytics. Currently serving as an Invited Teaching Assistant at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, Ana teaches courses in statistics and causality as well as supervises MSc thesis seminars. Experience includes leadership roles in data science at various companies such as Miniclip and NOS SGPS, along with being a Data Scientist at Royal Mail. Ana's early career involved a PhD in Bioengineering Systems from MIT Portugal Program, complemented by a Master of Science in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Universidade de Lisboa. Ana actively contributes to the data science community through leadership in Lisbon Meetups organized by Data Science Portugal.
