Additionally, Saiyra serves as a Consultant for the Data Science Society at Berkeley and has held positions as a Researcher at Goodly Labs, focusing on biases in news sources, and as a Consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, working on code generating LLMs to simulate infectious diseases. Experience as a Data Analyst at Futures Without Violence involved assessing the economic impact of Intimate Partner Violence on businesses, while a prior role as a Campaign Manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society successfully raised $25,000 for blood cancer research. Saiyra also worked as a Supervisor at Noah's New York Bagels. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley, graduation is expected in May 2025.
