Ryan Shi

Ryan Shi has a diverse range of work experience. Ryan started as a Health Intern at the San Francisco Unified School District in 2019, where they revamped the school's health curriculum and facilitated student group discussions. In 2020, they worked as a Medical Intern at Enterprise for Youth, leading a team in conducting research on Covid-19's impact on underrepresented communities. At Salesforce, they were a member of the App Design Team, where they contributed to the creation of a mobile app prototype for online banking. In 2021, they interned at SF New Deal as a Project Management Intern, conducting market sizing and coordinating strategic partnerships. Ryan also has experience as a Research and Development Analyst at the American Marketing Association, collecting and analyzing data on competitors and crafting marketing strategies. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager at Data Science UCSB, leading a team in developing personalized Spotify profiles and underground song recommendations. Ryan is also responsible for collecting and scoring Spotify API data. In the future, Ryan will be joining Connect link as a Product Management Intern.

Ryan Shi obtained a High School Diploma from Lowell High School, where they attended from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Data Science at UC Santa Barbara, starting in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2025.
