Joanna Gould

Joanna Gould has a wealth of experience in the arts and cultural sector. Joanna began their career in 2007 as the Front Of House Manager and Curatorial Assistant at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. In 2010, they were the General Manager of the Gertrude Street Projection Festival, Marketing Coordinator of the same festival, Acting Director of Utopian Slumps, and Creative Producer of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. In 2011, they were the Director of Brunswick Street Gallery and Curator of the Human Rights Arts & Film Festival. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Tour Coordinator and Grant Manager at Regional Arts Victoria, and the Development Manager and General Manager at Going Down Swinging. From 2016 to 2020, they were the Director of Operations, Director of External Relations, and Outreach and Development Manager at Eyebeam. Currently, they are the Development Manager at the Data & Society Research Institute.

Joanna Gould obtained their Masters of Art Curatorship from the University of Melbourne in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from The University of Western Australia in 2009, with a focus on Art History, Criticism and Conservation.
