Matthias Werner has a diverse work experience in various industries. Matthias started their career at Sünd Beteiligungen GmbH as a Venture Capital Analyst, where they gained expertise in seed and early-stage venture capital investments. Matthias then joined Wordseed as an Advisor, providing guidance and support to the company. In 2017, Matthias transitioned to Data Virtuality, where they initially worked as a Sales and Marketing Assistant, followed by a role as a Sales Development Representative. Matthias then progressed to become a Financial Analyst and eventually a Financial Manager. Currently, Matthias serves as the Head of Finance & Analytics at Data Virtuality, responsible for integrating data solutions and managing financial operations. In addition to their main roles, Matthias is also an active member of RevOps Co-op and RevGenius, showcasing their passion for learning and contributing to professional communities.

Matthias Werner completed their education in Economics & Management. Matthias first pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree at Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2012 to 2016. During their undergraduate studies, they also had the opportunity to study at Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave from 2014 to 2015. Following their bachelor's degree, Matthias continued their education with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2017 to 2018.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthias has acquired several certifications. These include certifications such as Webflow 101 from Webflow, The Ultimate Guide to Looker (Google Data) Studio 2023 from Udemy, and Football Analytics: Datenanalyse im Fußball from the International Football Institute. Matthias has also obtained certifications in various other areas such as product and marketing analytics, sales software, scrum master, and information security management. These certifications demonstrate Matthias' ongoing commitment to professional development and acquiring skills in different fields.
