Jackie Zhang

Jackie Zhang is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, data ingestion, and cloud computing. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Databricks since August 2021, Jackie is an Apache Spark contributor and a top contributor for Delta Lake. Jackie founded ReactiveXYZ in January 2014, focusing on helping students realize their innovative ideas. Previous notable roles include a Software Engineer Intern at Salesforce, where Jackie led the development of real-time graph ingestion pipelines, and a Research Engineer at Alibaba Cloud, working on memory management for hybrid databases. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Data Science from the University of Michigan.
