Kishore P Fernando

Kishore P Fernando is a seasoned leader in security software engineering with extensive experience across multiple technology sectors. Currently, at Databricks since June 2019, Kishore oversees the development of multi-cloud data lakes and pipelines, enhancing security incident detection and investigation through advanced telemetry data processing. Prior to this, as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Capital One from March 2014 to June 2019, Kishore focused on creating security products for early vulnerability detection in code and modernizing payment processing systems. At Discover Financial Services from December 2010 to March 2014, Kishore designed a real-time fraud detection engine and a credit policy system. Additionally, Kishore served as a Specialist at Wipro Technologies, contributing to design leadership in various technology applications. Kishore holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Sathyabama University, completed in 2007.
